The desert has always written in code.
Berber tribes never drew their rugs, they calculated them. Every knot a variable, every symmetry an algorithm, every repetition a loop passing through generations. Ancient Signal takes this ancient logic and brings it to the surface: the pattern is rendered as graphic notation, almost a flowchart woven in wool.

The Knotted Code series does not illustrate Berber tradition, it processes it. The result is an object that exists simultaneously in two timeframes: the long time of the loom and the fast time of the screen. Two languages written over each other without erasure.
